When it comes towards Diwali festival, it is about the sign
of brightness. It is also known as Deepavali as well as festival of lights. It
is celebrated in autumn season every year. It is the great and brightest
festival in country India celebrated in Hindus, Sikhs and Jains people. Deepavali signifies the victory of light over dark. It is one of the cultural
festival in India. Total 5 days duration of this festival, in these five days
they will do lots of activity in their home they are going to celebrate by
lighting Diyas, Home decorating, by shopping, playing with fireworks by cooking
and eating sweet food in their home. By strings of popular deeps and candles,
sweet and delicious mithai, Crackle of Fireworks (patakas) with the spark of phuljharis, Bustles of crowded bazaars. This is the best festive season of
Diwali which makes and feel better.
Why the people celebrating Diwali?
The fourth day of Diwali is known as Hindus New Year. So
this festival of lights is held in the honour of Lakshmi which is Hindus
goddess considered as wealth and prosperity. So the Hindus pray to Goddess
Lakshmi to bring good luck in the coming year by forgetting previous year’s
mistakes. Mainly deepavali is celebrated for return of Rama and Sita.
Diwali 2015 Traditions:
- Rangoli Creation: It is one of the best tradition in India which involves lot of fun, Creativity and tough work. Rangoli which is beautiful creation which is made on the floor contains variety of designs, sawdust, flowers and chalk. In Rangoli we can make variety patterns of symbols pattern and more.
- Lighting Candle or Lamps or Diyas: As I already said Diwali is festival of lights so it’s all about lighting up every nook and corner of the house to enlighten home to banish darkness from our current life and let’s welcome to happiness and joy.
- Burning Fireworks Crackers: Every festival is alone without Fireworks, pattakos. So by burning fireworks we again spreading light over darkness. It can be done in almost all age groups.
Diwali Celebration Dates in 2015:
It will be celebrated on 10th of November 2015 in
south India while it will be going to celebrate on 11th of November 2015
in North India. So wait and feel the chaos of Diwali.
